2013 NFL Mock Draft: Week 15 Update for Indianapolis Colts

The Week 15 update from www.fansided.com has been released, and so has an updated 2013 first round draft pick for the Indianapolis Colts. With the Colts still firmly in the AFC Playoffs picture, it is still unclear where they will draft. One thing is for certain, that the Colts will not have the number one overall pick two years in a row.

This week’s NFL Mock Draft has the Colts taking C.J. Mosley, an outside linebacker, from Alabama. Mosley is a two-time All-American Junior for the Crimson Tide. He is one of the best linebackers in his class, and has the chance to help Alabama raise another BCS National Championship banner this season. Whether or not Alabama wins the national title this year, Mosley will be one of the hottest prospects at his position.

The Colts could definitely use some new blood on defense. Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney aren’t getting any younger. Mathis has played well in his move to the linebacker spot, but Freeney hasn’t looked very comfortable all season. Mosley would make a great addition to this young team, but the Colts have also found some diamonds in the rough at the linebacker position in recent seasons, with Pat Angerer and Jerrell Freeman.
