Against the Buffalo Bills in week 12, rookie wide receiver T.Y. Hilton caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Hilton also returned a punt 75 yards for a score. Not only did Hilton’s performance make him the only player in Indianapolis Colts history to score a receiving and special teams touchdown in the same game, but it also got him named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Hilton has stepped up as a power player, among several other offensive rookies on this young Indianapolis roster. A third-round pick in this April’s NFL Draft, Hilton has proved himself to be exceptional in many places on the field. Not only was Hilton’s touchdown the first special teams score for the Colts since December of 2007, his threat as a receiver and returner is something that the Colts have not had in a long time. Hilton has six total touchdowns, and 33 catches so far this season, and has got over 100 receiving yards in three games.
