Even with Extra Rest, Indianapolis Colts Remain Injured

Even though the Indianapolis Colts had a few extra days to rest, after kicking off week ten last Thursday night, they still find themselves fairly beat-up. Two Colts were put on the Injured Reserve list this week, and although the injury list is a bit shorter than usual in week 11, there is still a myriad of injury concerns for Indianapolis.

Two starters have already been called out for the game against the New England Patriots. Defensive back Vontae Davis, who was brought to the Colts via a trade earlier in the year, will miss a third straight game with a knee injury. Rookie tight end Coby Fleener will also miss his Foxboro debut, sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Several other Colts players saw limited practice this week, and are questionable for the Patriots game. Robert Mathis (back) and Donald Brown (knee) both missed some practice time this week, and are questionable for Sunday.

The offensive line got a boost, as center Samson Satele (back) and tackle Winston Justice (knee) both saw full practice this week, and could see game time against the Patriots. The Colts are going to need all the help they can get, as they go into one of the most hostile stadiums in the NFL.
