Although the news and concern about head coach Chuck Pagano permeated through the Indianapolis Colts organization early this week, the franchise went ahead with plans to respect breast cancer awareness at this Sunday’s game. The Colts are also working on plans to help raise leukemia research funding and show further support for their coach during a home game in the near future.

The Indianapolis Colts are requesting that fans wear pink for a breast cancer awareness “Pink Out” during Sunday’s home game at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Green Bay Packers. The team will also be selling pink Colts t-shirts to raise money for breast cancer research. The NFL’s breast cancer awareness initiative has been put into effect by each of the league’s 32 teams over the last several seasons, and has helped to raise money for an illness that reflects over 200,000 new cases each year.
