Wednesday Whinnies: Luck-y Colts Links for January 11

For the 2012 Indianapolis Colts, playoff time (now) means it’s the off-season, so we all need a little something to tide us over until Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning or, God forbid, Dan Orlovsky takes the next snap.  Here is some reading for your enjoyment.

  • Jim Irsay apparently wants Baltimore to win the Super Bowl.    Now, wouldn’t that be just grand?
  • Looks like Ryan Grigson is gaining steam in the race to be the next Colts GM.   He’s an Indiana boy.
  • Phil B. Wilson dons his rose-colored glasses and takes a look at all the great things that happened for the Colts this year.  Tops in my book was the play of Pat Angerer, who probably signed Gary Brackett’s Indy death certificate.
  • The “Doomsday Clock” was set forward to 11:55 PM.   After some consideration, scientists returned to the scene and attached a note to the clock bezel:  “Clock may run up to five minutes faster in Indianapolis.”
