According to ESPN’s Paul Kuharsky, Philadelphia Eagles director of player personnel Ryan Grigson has completed a second interview with Colts owner Jim Irsay for the open GM position. Kuharsky provides a fairly complete biographical sketch of Grigson, but here are some of the salient points:
- He’s an Indiana boy (he’s 40) with Purdue ties.
- He spent some time on NFL rosters in the mid-1990s and played a bit in the CFL.
- He has a strong scouting background.
- His NFL teams have made the playoffs in seven of his 12 seasons.
Will Grigson be the next boss in Indy? Nah, that’s Jim Irsay.
