Dwight Freeney Named to Seventh Pro Bowl

On Tuesday, the Colts picked up the first of what figures to be many post-season awards for their stellar 2011 season when DE Dwight Freeney was named to his seventh Pro Bowl.   In fact, Freeney was the only Colt picked to play in Hawaii, which means they will have only one representative for the first time since 1998 when running back Marshall Faulk carried the burden.   Although LB Pat Angerer could be angered by not also being selected, he’s probably actually angrier that the Colts have been so bad during his breakout season.

If Gary Brackett returns next season and supplants Pat, that situation will be Angerer’s angerer, which might lead him to level many angry hits when he spells G-a-r-y in the lineup at some point.
