Manning Won’t Practice With Colts

After all the talk about Peyton Manning progressing from neck surgery and actually starting to throw some passes, that thud you heard from Indianapolis on Tuesday was the collective realization that the all-time great will not practice with the team the rest of this season.   Head coach Jim Caldwell confirmed as much during his press conference, a day after vice chairman (what does that MEAN, anyway?) Bill Polian was non-committal on Manning’s future with the team.  It seems that there is concern Manning might fail his upcoming physical and has pretty much reverted to rehab mode, which apparently does not include throwing the ball or running drills.

The Colts better keep their winning in check … or their QB Luck might run out completely!
