Colts May Get Angerer and Clark Back Against Ravens
By Editorial Staff
The Indianapolis Colts appear set to see an injured offensive star return to the field on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Before you get too excited, though, it’s not Peyton Manning who is on his way back to the action but one of his favorite targets, wide receiver Dallas Clark. Clark has been sidelined for over a month with a banged up fibula.
Linebacker Pat Angerer, who has led the league in tackles most of the season, banged up his knee on the first play of last Sunday’s game in New England and never returned. Turns out that he “just” sprained/strained his MCL, and he says that the soreness is subsiding. So much so, in fact, that Angerer just may be squashing some birds in Baltimore.
It’s good to hear some good in a season full of bad and ugly.
