It’s never good when your favorite NFL team is busy ruffling and shuffling its roster in the hours before departing for a road game, particularly when starters are involved. The fun continues for the 2011 Colts, though, and a couple of guys who showed up on their questionable list for this week’s action against the New England Patriots are actually staying at home.
TE Brody Edlridge, DT Drake Nevis, and FB Ryan Mahaffey will all sit out the trip to Boston. To help offset some of that talent drain, the Colts cut OL Mike Tepper and added TE Mike McNeill to the active roster.
At least I got to use “Colts” and “talent” in the same sentence this season!
