Colts Lose to Cincinnati Bengals, 27-17

The Indianapolis Colts maintained their “perfect” season yesterday, falling on the road to the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 27-17.  The Colts have shown a remarkable propensity for hanging in games, or even leading them, until late in the game, only to crumble when it matters most.   On Sunday, Indy got creative in their losing ways, even for them.  “Roaring” back from a 20-7 deficit, Curtis Painter got the Colts in position to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but Adam Vinatieri’s field goal attempt was blocked by cornerback (!) Nate Clements.   Later, Pierre “All-Wrists” Garcon fumbled the ball, which was picked up by Carlos Dunlap and returned for the final score.

Lord help our Colts!
