Every week during the 2011 NFL season, we’ll take a look at the Colts’ injury situation, as well as that of their upcoming opponent.   For Game 3, here is how the M*A*S*H units for the Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers are shaping up.

Colts

  • LB Ernie Sims  (knee) is out.
  • QB Kerry Collins (shoulder) is questionable but should play.
  • LB Gary Brackett (shoulder) is questionable and will probably sit.
  • DT Eric Foster (hamstring) is questionable.
  • DE Robert Mathis (chest) is questionable but should play.
  • DE Dwight Freeney (abdomen) is questionable and missed a lot of time this week.   He participated some in practice Friday, though, and could start.
  • WR Blair White (back) is questionable but should  play.
  • TE Dallas Clark (foot) is questionable.
  • S Melvin Bullitt (shoulder) is questionable and not likely to play.
  • TE Brody Eldridge (knee) is questionable.
  • TE Jacob Tamme (concussion) is questionable.
  • DT Fili Moala (ankle) is questionable and will probably sit.
  • G Ryan Diem (ankle) is questionable and probably out.
  • QB Peyton Manning (neck) is out.   I finally believe that I had to write that.

Browns

  • RB Jonathan Dwyer (shoulder) is probable.
  • C/G Markice Pouncey (hamstring) is questionable.
  • DE Brett Keisel (knee) is out.

Ugly stuff for the Colts, but probably a beaut compared to what Sunday’s game could turn into.   Hold on tight!
