Colts Notes for September 20

Yesterday was Tuesday, and the Colts don’t practice on Tuesdays.  I think maybe they should consider extending that to this entire week, so at least they could be as healthy as possible heading into Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  It seems unlikely that any amount of practice will make much of a difference, anyway.

Yesterday’s notes (with a smattering of Monday news):

• We learned that help is just a phone call away, if only the Colts will take Jeff George up on his offer.
• G Ryan Diem may have a high ankle sprain and could be out for a few weeks.
• Peyton Manning continued to experiment with his neck.
• Manning began his rehab with some walking at the Colts’ training facility.
