Kerry Collins to Start for Colts Against Cincinnati Bengals
By Editorial Staff
Tom James at CBS Sports reports this afternoon that Kerry Collins will start at quarterback for the Colts against the Bengals this Thursday night. This is not exactly an unexpected development, given that Collins was signed for millions last week and has yet to see any action for the Colts, but it finally puts a ding in Curtis Painter’s Blue and White armor. If Collins doesn’t completely implode or break off a body part against the Bengals, then the Colts will probably head into the season with a Manning-Collins-Painter pecking order among QBs. If Manning can’t start in Houston, then Collins will be up. Everybody feel better now?
