Camping With the Colts, Day 12

Friday was a getaway day for the Colts, who are traveling to St. Louis today to play the Rams in their first pre-season game of 2011.  The team had a short practice in the morning and then hit the road.  Most of the news concerning the Blue and White yesterday was in the form of rumors regarding free agent sightings around town and potential signings.   A few other tidbits emerged from various sources:

• Mike Chappell at the Indianapolis Star reported that Peyton Manning’s contract includes lots of creative bonus structuring.
• Lots of speculation about Austin Collie’s helmet for this season.   Maybe he’ll get really creative.
• Chatter, chatter, what’s the matter with our receivers?   Apparently enough that T. J. Houshmandzadeh was spotted in town on Thursday night.
