As reported by CBSSports.com, Indianapolis Colts all-world center Jeff Saturday has been strictly a spectator thus far in training camp in Anderson. Saturday was a key figure in pushing the new CBA through to completion, and he is understandably tuckered out by the extra work and emotions. The good news is that he apparently not nursing any injury and is able to enjoy sitting back and watching his team for a change. My bet is that he’ll be on the field when quarterback Peyton Manning is activated, if not before. For now, though, Saturday has a sabbatical. Hopefully, he’ll come back rested and roaring to lead the Colts’ new offensive line, because they’ll need all of the veteran wile that he can muster.
… and Saturday, He Rested
