After a one-day reprieve, when the Indianapolis Colts actually delivered some good news to their fans, the hits to Indy’s Super Bowl hopes resumed this morning with word that Plaxico Burress has signed with the New York Jets. Burress is bound to be rusty after a couple of years, um, away, but his talent and pedigree are undeniable. This signing comes at a really great time in the context of Colts news, since Indy is set to release cornerback Kelvin Hayden. Hope Jerraud Powers has his jets on turned on this year.
