As reported by the Washington Post, about two dozen members of the Indianapolis Colts arrived at the team’s complex on the west side of the city yesterday. Why is this newsworthy? Because there was such a long, dark stretch this spring where we were unsure when we’d see the real, live horseshoes in town again, that’s why! Just knowing that Pierre Garcon, Gary Brackett and Robert Mathis are back in the 317 area code is kind of like the fireflies returning in late May. It’s like your dad coming home from a long business trip. It’s an announcement that Elvis has entered the building. In other words, let the good times roll!
