The Muncie Star Press reports this morning that the Colts will sign former Ball State quarterback to a two-year deal sometime today. Davis was a practice-squad player for the 49ers in 2009 and 2010, and he was on the Seahawks roster for about a week this year. He has Indiana ties, obviously, but I hope this isn’t the insurance policy for Peyton Manning that Chris Mortensen mentioned last night on Sports Center! As always, stay tuned.
