Reggie Wayne Ready To Get Back To Work

Reggie Wayne is like a pregnant lady.   At least that’s what he told Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star when the two talked at the Indiana Black Expo this weekend.   Don’t expect Petyon Manning’s favorite target to be sporting a bloated belly when the Colts (presumably) report to training camp in Anderson on July 31, though.  No, what Wayne means is that he has his bags packed and ready to go, and he’s just waiting for word from the Colts that the lockout is over.   Morning, noon or night, Reggie is ready to report, even without a contract extension.  Wayne is in the last year of his contract and would like to lock up a new deal as soon as possible, but he says there is no chance of a holdout.   He also told Chappell that he and Peyton Manning realize that time is running out on their historic run and that they both want to make the absolute most of whatever is left of their prime together.
