Jerry Hughes Arrested in Dallas
By Editorial Staff
Ugh! First, we learned this morning that this year’s number one pick, Anthony Castonzo, likely won’t start at left tackle anytime soon. Now, the Sporting News reports that last year’s first-rounder, DE Jerry Hughes, was arrested early this morning in Dallas on a charge of public intoxication. Hughes has already taken some flak around here for what is roundly considered a disappointing rookie season: 12 games played, six tackles. Clearly, the first round of the draft has not been a strong point for Colts management the past few years.
Hopefully, not many Sundays this fall will end with as much dreary news as the malaise conjured up today!
