According to the Associated Press, Indianapolis Colts’ tight end Dallas Clark will be placed on the injured-reserve list with his wrist injury. This means the Pro-Bowl tight end will be out for the rest of the season.

It was announced today that Clark decided to now have surgery.

Clark hopes, and plans, to return for next season.

Clark will end his season with 37 catches for 347 yards, so far ranking third on the team. Clark had 100 catches for 1,106 yards and ten touchdowns the previous season.

The Colts signed Gijon Robinson two days ago. They have a bye week right now and plan to roll as they have the Houston Texans coming over at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week Eight.
