Garcon, Collie to Play Against Undefeated Chiefs this Sunday

According to the Associated Press, Indianapolis Colts’ wide receivers Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie are cleared to play this Sunday as they face the only undefeated team left in the National Football League, which are the Kansas City Cheifs, surprisingly.

Garcon will be back in the starting line-up after missing the last two games when the Colts went 1-1, beating the Denver Broncos but then losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Garcon so far only has four catches for 54 yards, and needs to improve on that.

Austin Collie will be cleared to play after finally practicing which will allow him to play. Collie is on a Pro-Bowl caliber year so far, and will be in the starting line-up of receivers as well.

Collie hasn’t missed any games so far this season. He has 32 catches for 398 yards along with five touchdowns, which is easily in the top ten in the NFL and top-two on the Colts as he and Reggie Wayne have made a deadly combination.

Running backs Donald Brown and Mike Hart have not practiced all week and will most likely sit out. Brown did not make the trip the to Jacksonville last week as Hart played for him.

Other players that will be out will be strong safety Bob Sanders with his biceps injury, wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez with his ankle, and outside linebacker Kavell Conner with his foot.

Left tackle Charlie Johnson may start however, despite having a foot injury.

Cornerback Jacob Lacey has a foot injury and free safety Antoine Bethea has a hamstring injury, but will start.

Melvin Bullitt and Devin Moore are reported to be out for the season.

The Colts are pretty banged-up, which also is a reason why they are currently 2-2. Hopefully they can fix themselves up and show their true selves against the Chiefs this Sunday.
