If you have not already follow this link- http://www.nfl-monster.com/# – to vote for Nikki Gott to be the next NFL Director of Fandemonium. Lets show the rest of the sporting world how well Colt fans support their own! If that’s not enough for you, by leaving a comment on my blog after you vote you will be in the running for a $50 gift card for the NFL Shop (winner will be chosen from all comments left from yesterday through the end of the day Monday).

In case you were a little unsure how much the community loves this team, all you had to do was go- well- anywhere on Friday. Throughout the football season every Friday has been Blue Friday. Everyone is encouraged to show their support by wearing their Colt jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and anything else that shows support for the Indianapolis Colts.

This past Friday was like no other. Everywhere I went I felt as if I was swimming in a sea of blue. Colt fans were everywhere! I went into the Meijer in Noblesville where a local radio station was having a live broadcast, giving away tickets, and had Colt cheerleaders signing calendars. I had an old Cowboy hat on and darn near got run out of the store!

Okay, I’m exaggeratting just a bit; a whole lot, but I did get a lot of angry looks. That could have been because I smelled really bad having just come from the gym. I did hear a few comments by the radio people though.

I do envy any person working in a bar Saturday during the game. With such a big game being played during prime time they are going to be slammed! Even if people are crappy tippers they will still make a pretty penny!
