Colts add WR Hank Baskett

The Colts have made a nice addition at wide receiver, signing former Philadelphia wideout Hank Baskett.

The signing was annonced this morning on both the National Football Post, as well as Stampede Blue, via King Richard who read the news on Adam Schefter’s twitter page. It’s reported Baskett is currently on the way to Indy to sign his contract.

The addition of Baskett means that perhaps Anthony Gonzalez’s injury is much worse than initially projected. Despite the unknown severity of Gonzo’s injured knee, this is an exciting pick up for Indy. Baskett is a proven receiver and will help Peyton Manning and the Colts continue to use the long ball and attack through the air.
