The Colts trailed 7-3 early on in this AFC south match up, but that wouldn’t last for long as Indianapolis came out with 2 consecutive 92 yard drives for touchdowns. Peyton continued to get the time he needed with his young receiving core. Although his touchdowns were to his familiar Targets of Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark, broke the franchise records for most TD’s in a season by a TE. Anthony Gonzalez got a little banged up early on, and Devin Aromashodu was able to fill in nicely. His stats may only show that he had 3 catches, but it is what you won’t find in the stat books is his ability to help draw players off of Wayne who had a huge day with 10 receptions for 143 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball the rookie front line did a great job holding Walker to only 66 yards, and the rest of the defensive unit picked Rosenfels off 3 times. It was definately a typical Colts-Texans game today, and it only means one thing for Indy, MOMENTUM! Which is the strongest thing we need going into the play offs in order for the Colts to bring home another title back to Naptown.
