Fear not, this site is taking off. Our aim is to bring the you best of not only our beloved Indianapolis Colts, but the best of Hoosier sports and competition! Strap in Hoosiers and fans of Hoosier sports because Naptowns Finest now seeks to cover it all…or as much as we possibly can. You’ve noticed our expansion into covering our Pacers and their seemingly incredible turnaround this season, but it doesn’t stop there. So besides covering our favorite professional sports, Naptown’s Finest is also going grassroots into our cherished high school sports and gyms across this great state!

Fall was an exciting time in Indiana with extremely talented and competitive kids heading out to the green pitches, gyms and running trails and here’s the rundown, and there’s no better place to start in an Indiana autumn than football:

BOYS SOCCER

#1 Evansville Memorial defeated an impressive #16 Chesterton team 1-0 to cap off an undefeated season, win their school’s first Indiana High School State Soccer Championship, and all but ensuring their #1 ranking in the nation!

GIRLS SOCCER

#6 Penn knocked off two-time defending state champs Fort Wayne Dwenger only to fall to #9 Indianapolis Cathedral, 4-2.BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

It looks like second-year high school Fishers won their first-ever state championship in any sport by holding off a stiff lineup of Top 5 contenders.

#1 Westfield won their 3rd straight state title this year and here’s the other four schools chasing them down all season:
