Here’s some quick highlights around Terre Haute during camp:
1. Marlin Jackson’s got hands…and apparently he’s also got the starting cornerback position this year, too. This isn’t confirmed yet, but that seems to be where Dungy’s leading us to think.
2. Sixth-rounder, Roy Hall, Dungy says, might make more waves on Special Teams than offense during the first half of the season. The Colts are stacked on their receiving crew already (Harrision, Wayne, Gonzalez, Utecht), so it’s to be expected, but I’m kind of pulling for this guy. Don’t ask me why, I just have a good feeling about him.
3. Either Utecht or Clark will be filling in as a blocking back for Addai…Just not sure which right now. It’s going to be weird having someone other than Rhodes back there.
That seems to be it for now, Colts fans! Stayed tuned. Camp’s wrapping up, strength and conditioning practices are becoming more frequent, and the pre-season’s about to begin.
Are you ready..?
