According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Indianapolis Colts brought Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Margus Hunt  and Tennessee Titans offensive guard (center) Brian Schwenke in for a free agent visit on Monday.

Regarding Hunt, it’s reportedly the first free agent visit for the 29 year old defensive lineman this offseason:

Originally a 2013 2nd round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, the 4th-year pro is most known for being unusually tall at a ‘power forward-esque’ 6’8″, also weighing 295 pounds, and earning the nickname ‘The Estonian Giant”–having been born in Karksi-Nuia, Estonia.

It’s worth noting that Hunt was also a world junior record holder in discus throw, as he has competed in World Junior Championships previously.

He’s fresh off of a season with the Bengals in which he recorded 17 tackles and 2 passes defensed in 15 games. In his 4-year career with Cincinnati, Hunt has 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 3 passes defensed in 44 career games.

Per Pro Football Focus (subscription), Hunt was rated as their 62nd best ‘edge defender’ with a +68.3 grade overall–including a +77.3 run defense grade.

Having lost young rotational defensive lineman Zach Kerr in free agency, the Colts could be looking to bolster their defensive line depth by signing Hunt.

At his rare height, Hunt makes for an intriguing defensive lineman if nothing else.

Meanwhile, offensive guard Brian Schwenke was initially a 4th round pick of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, as a former All-Pac 12 selection (2012) with California.

The 6’3″, 318 pound offensive guard appeared in 16 games (3 starts) for the Titans this past season. In his 4-year career with Tennessee, Schwenke has appeared in 41 career games (28 starts).

The 4th-year veteran could theoretically push promising 2nd-year pro Joe Haeg  for the starting right guard spot.

Worst case, he could provide additional interior depth along the offensive line for the Colts, as the team has so far shown no indication of re-signing backup offensive guard/center Jonotthan Harrison.
