The Indianapolis Colts needed another fourth quarter comeback to notch their second win of the season. Indy managed to knock off the Chicago Bears to improve to 2-3 with the 29-23 win.

Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton really didn’t want to lose another game. The duo managed to repeat  Week 3’s performance almost to a tee, with Hilton scoring the go ahead touchdown on a deep shot.

Hilton picked apart the Bears secondary to the tune of 10 receptions for 171 yards and the touchdown. Luck had a big afternoon as well, completing 28-of-39 passes for 322 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The offensive performer of the afternoon was easily Adam Vinatieri, who stayed perfect on the season with a staggering five more field goals. He drilled his attempts from 54, 53, 46, 41, and 26 yards out. The future Hall of Famer is one of the few bright points in an otherwise disappointing season so far.

The Colts opened up the game moving the ball with ease by utilizing a no-huddle and playing with more pace than normal. Coach Chuck Pagano even opted to go for it on fourth-and-goal. But in the second half, Pagano returned to his conservative ways and slowed the offense down to a painful pace that allowed the Bears to keep it close and eventually take the lead.

The Colts defense was atrocious, giving up over 500 yards of total offense to the Brian Hoyer led Bears offense. Only penalties against the Bears kept them out of the endzone this afternoon.

Hoyer and company looked poised to retake the lead with under two minutes to play, but a bad pass on fourth down ended any rally hopes.

Frank Gore was able to find first down yardage to seal the win for the Colts, and Luck kneeled it out. Gore was extremely efficient, rushing for 75 yards on 14 carriers.

Up next, the Colts head to Houston to take on the Texans for control of the AFC South.
