According to Fox Sports NFL Reporter Alex Marvez, Indianapolis Colts wide receivers coach Jim Hostler will remain on the team’s coaching staff, but may move to a different position:

Hostler just finished his 1st season as the Colts wide receivers coach. However, the team’s coaching staff has seen a serious shake-up around head coach Chuck Pagano already this offseason–meaning Hostler could transition to a different position.

Prior to joining the Colts, Hostler served as the senior offensive assistant to the Buffalo Bills in 2014. Before that, he was the wide receivers coach of the Baltimore Ravens (2008-13).  Hostler also served as the San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks coach (2005-06) and later their offensive coordinator (2007).

Before joining the 49ers, Hostler coached the New York Jets quarterbacks and wide receivers (2003-04). He also was the New Orleans Saints assistant wide receivers coach (2001-02).

Hostler has over 25 years of coaching experience.

While T.Y. Hilton just made a consecutive Pro Bowl appearance, the Colts wide receivers didn’t have the impact as initially thought this past season.

Some of that can be attributed to Andrew Luck missing 9 games; however, veteran Andre Johnson wasn’t much of a factor and Donte Moncrief disappeared for stretches in the season. Meanwhile, rookie Phillip Dorsett only saw limited action, as he missed 5 games with a broken ankle.
