The Indianapolis Colts host the Chicago Bears in Week 2 of the preseason. The Colts were crushed in their preseason debut last Sunday, and are just hoping to put forth a better effort this weekend. The two teams held joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday this week to shake things up and should have a good feel for each other by Saturday night.

While the final result of these games doesn’t matter, the Colts are hoping to get an overall higher level of effort and execution. Most of last week’s struggles had more to do with team collective failures as opposed to individual failings. There was rarely a play where you could point to one person missing an assignment against the Eagles.

That said, there are a few players who we’ll be watching for different reasons. Most of these players are rookies with a lot to prove, but we’ve got one veteran in the bunch who is fighting to remain valuable to the team.
