Best NFL prop bets for Colts vs. Texans in NFL Week 2 (Another big game for Anthony Richardson?)

Anthony Richardson is a great prop bet target in Week 2 vs. Houston.

Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson had a strong performance in his regular season debut, and now he takes on a fellow rookie quarterback in CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans.

There is a prop bet that I love for Richardson in this game, but I think the pass catchers on these teams are being undervalued because they have rookies calling the shots.

No matter how you wager on the game – or the prop market – between the Packers and Falcons, FanDuel Sportsbook has a great offer for new users.

Here are my three favorite prop plays for this AFC South showdown:

Colts vs. Texans best NFL prop bets

  • Anthony Richardson anytime touchdown scorer
  • Michael Pittman OVER 54.5 receiving yards
  • Nico Collins OVER 46.5 receiving yards

Anthony Richardson anytime touchdown scorer

Anthony Richardson carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he’s likely the team’s best option in the ground game – even with Zack Moss potentially returning in Week 2.

Until Jonathan Taylor comes back (if he even does), I think Richardson is a great goal-line threat who can also break off a big play with his legs.

He’s my favorite player to find the end zone in this matchup.

Michael Pittman OVER 54.5 receiving yards

So much for a rookie quarterback slowing down Michael Pittman!

The Colts No. 1 receiver had a big game in Week 1, catching eight of his 11 targets from Richardson for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Pittman is the clear No. 1 option in the passing game, and Richardson was really impressive throwing the ball in his debut after struggling in the preseason.

This number is far too low – in my opinion – on Sunday.

Nico Collins OVER 46.5 receiving yards

Why not take the OVER on the other No. 1 receiver in this matchup, Texas wideout Nico Collins?

Similar to Pittman, Collins had a big Week 1 despite playing with a rookie signal-caller.

He finished with six catches for 80 yards on 11 targets, and if he sees that volume again, this number is very reachable.

The Colts gave up big games on the outside to Calvin Ridley and Zay Jones in Week 1, so Collins should be able to find some space in this secondary.
