Nyheim Hines (+190)

Hines seems to be the biggest potential beneficiary of a Taylor absence, ranking second on the team in carries throughout the season. His primary value comes as a pass-catcher though, with 17 catches on the season.

The Colts’ running game hasn’t been effective even with Taylor, and I think they’ll shift to more quick passes to mitigate Denver’s stellar pass rush. That means Hines will get involved. If Taylor is ruled out, I expect Hines’ odds to move closer to +150, so let’s grab this value pronto.

Michael Pittman Jr. (+190)

Pittman will likely be matched up with Patrick Surtain II for much of the game, but Davante Adams still hauled in nine passes for 101 yards against Surtain’s tough coverage last week. There’s just no game in which Pittman should have odds this high as the focal point of Indy’s aerial attack.

After barely missing a TD on back-to-back plays in Week 4, this is the perfect buy-low spot for the Colts’ leading receiver. At just under 10 targets a game, he’s receiving an alpha target share for a wideout, and that typically leads to TD opportunities.

Mo Alie-Cox (+470)

It’s like nobody realizes Alie-Cox led the Colts in receiving yards last week with two TDs! Indy needs a spark on offense, and Alie-Cox certainly earned more targets with his dominant performance last week.

Denver’s secondary is among the best in the NFL, but they’ve allowed two TDs to tight ends already this year. As a preferred red zone target, I love these odds for Alie-Cox to find the end zone one again.
