2. Week 8 vs. Tennessee Titans

The Titans ran away with the division, even rising to the top seed in the conference despite Derrick Henry missing a ton of time with an injury. Even when Henry was healthy, DeForest Buckner helped slow him down, limiting him to 68 yards on 26 carries.

A fantastic day from Michael Pittman Jr. was wasted, as he caught 10 passes for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Ryan Tannehill was intercepted twice, giving the Colts a chance to win this game. Ultimately, it came down to Wentz not getting the job done in the clutch.

The Indianapolis Colts blew several chances against Tennessee.

Wentz struggled in Philadelphia near the end of his tenure because he was poor when pressured. Those bad habits popped up again in this game, as he was picked off twice and missed multiple opportunities to put this game away. Tennessee continued their solid play against their rivals from Indiana.

Two of Wentz’s three worst games of the season have come against the Titans — he’s barely completing over half of his passes in those two matchups. Long-term, the Colts need to figure out a way for Wentz to have better success against Shane Bowen and their rivals to the south.
