2. Kyle Fuller

The Colts signing cornerbacks to their practice squad at every turn since the start of the regular season really sparks questions about their decision to cut Marvell Tell and Andre Chachere before the 53-man deadline.

Nevertheless, Indy should be in the market for a CB ahead of Nov 2.

Xavier Rhodes has been a liability since returning from injury, TJ Carrie is currently on IR, Rock Ya-Sin has been hampered by a nagging ankle injury, and Kenny Moore hasn’t been his usual lockdown self in the slot.

Enter Kyle Fuller, who figures to be one of the most sought-after players over the next two weeks. With Patrick Surtain, Ronald Darby and Bryce Callahan, the Broncos have a glut of cornerbacks, so they could be persuaded to unload Fuller, who they signed to a one-year, $9.5 million deal in the offseason.

Fuller would benefit from a change of scenery, as his playing time has decreased of late with Denver riding a four-game losing streak. He logged just two defensive snaps in Week 6 and didn’t even see the field Thursday vs Cleveland.

The 29-year-old seems to be on his way out of Denver, and the Colts would be delusional not to pounce on this opportunity.

Who knows? If Fuller performs well in Matt Eberflus’ zone defense, he could be signed as Rhodes’ successor, and that’d one less thing Ballard has to worry about in the offseason.
