MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA – OCTOBER 03: Jonathan Taylor #28 of the Indianapolis Colts  (Photo by Cliff Hawkins/Getty Images) /

1. Jonathan Taylor under 59.5 rush yards (-115)

Taylor has a tough task ahead of him despite the fact that he is one week away from his best game of the season. Baltimore has a very tough run defense, meaning that it might be more of a Nyheim Hines night due to his ability to make a more consistent impact in the passing game.

This goes hand in hand with the idea of Wentz attacking Baltimore through the air. Wink Martindale is going to send a ton of pressure between the tackles, and with Quenton Nelson still sidelined, running lanes against this defense might be harder to come by than they were against Miami.

Will the Colts get Jonathan Taylor going?

If Baltimore gets off to a hot start, meaning they can unleash their Jackson-centric running game, the only way that Wentz and the Colts can keep up is to take to the skies and beat up on an up-and-down Ravens secondary. This may come at the expense of Taylor, at least for this week.

This shouldn’t mean that Taylor gets abandoned from a gameplay or philosophical point of view. However, the Colts need to take whatever advantage the Ravens give them, and if that means that Taylor doesn’t get a ton of carries in this game, then so be it.
