Age: 36

NFL Draft: 2001, Round 1: Pick 30

Career Highlights: 6x Pro Bowler, 1x First-Team All-Pro, Super Bowl XLI Champion, 7th All-Time in NFL Receptions (1,070), 8th All-Time in NFL Receiving Yards (14,345), 22nd All-Time in Touchdown Receptions (82)

Summary: One of the most decorated wideouts in Colts franchise history, Wayne helped to successfully bridge the gap between the Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck eras of Colts football. He played in 211 games for the Colts in his 14-year career, catching 1,070 receptions for 14,345 receiving yards and 82 career touchdowns. Incredibly sure-handed and always a critical 3rd down threat, Wayne is one of the most accomplished wide receivers in NFL history.

Wayne was not only able to do it well, but also did it well for a really long time. His longevity and consistency speak for themselves and is a true testament to his greatness and work ethic. It’s not just what Wayne did on the field, it’s what he did off of it too as he was among the veteran leaders of the Colts later in his career.

Unfortunately, recent injuries cut short Wayne’s Colts career after this past season, but certainly not his place in the team’s history. He remains one of the best players to ever wear the horseshoe and for all of the right reasons.
