The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that the team has signed Clemson safety T.J. Green, who was a 2nd round pick of the team with the 57th overall selection.

That means that only 3rd round offensive tackle Le’Raven Clark from Texas Tech remains unsigned, as the team has now agreed to terms with 7 of their 8 draft selections.

The 6’2″, 209 pound safety shined for the Tigers this past season, recording 95 tackles including 5.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Green was a late bloomer at safety, as he made the switch from wide receiver two years ago.

While Green is considered a bit of a project, he could push both Mike Adams and Clayton Geathers for rep at the safety position.

If nothing else, he could see the field in nickel packages and contribute immediately on special teams before eventually taking over a starting position in a season or so.
