According to Fox 59’s Mike Chappell, a pair of former Indianapolis Colts greats Marshall Faulk and Reggie Wayne will announce the franchise’s draft picks in Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday:

Currently, the Colts have pick #48 overall in Round 2 and #82 overall in Round 3, but that could certainly change–just how we saw firsthand last year when the team traded out of the 2nd round to accumulate more favorable picks.

Of course, Faulk and Wayne are two of the greatest players in Indianapolis Colts history.

Unlike the picks they are set to announce, both players were first round picks however. Specifically, Faulk was the 2nd overall pick of the 1994 NFL Draft, while Wayne was the 30th overall pick of the 2001 NFL Draft.

Faulk, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011, rushed for 5,320 total rushing yards and 42 rushing touchdowns in 5 seasons with Indianapolis, which ranks 3rd and 4th in the franchise’s all-time history respectively.

Faulk went onto become the NFL’s 10th all-time leading rusher and one of the most dynamic running backs in the league’s history.

Meanwhile, Wayne ranks 2nd all-time in Colts career receptions (1,070), career receiving yards (14,345), career touchdowns (82), and has the most Colts career games played (211) and career wins (143) respectively in 14 seasons with Indianapolis. Needless to say, he’s one of the most decorated wide receivers in the franchise’s history, and one of the league’s all-time great wide receivers.

Simply put, it’s a well-deserving honor for both of these former Colts legends, as each player represented the Horseshoe very well during their time in Indianapolis.

Hopefully, they can help introduce two new Colts legends if we’re lucky.
