The Indianapolis Colts season is over, but how did they perform at each position and will those players be back in 2016?

The Colts had a solid campaign from their cornerbacks in 2014, but the same can’t be said of this seasons group. Vontae Davis didn’t live up to his elite 2014 year (where he was snubbed for All-Pro honors).

The overall lack of a pass rush really hurts cornerbacks as no one can be expected to cover for more than a few seconds. The Colts are going to be thin at CB next season, and need to make some upgrades, but no need is greater than pass rush heading into 2016.

The Colts can do some addition by subtraction this offseason, specifically by letting perpetual liability Greg Toler go in free agency. There are also some free agents the team could target to bolster the secondary. Having the corners at full health and hoping for natural development of their former rookie will also improve the unit.
