The Indianapolis Colts announced their inactive players ahead of the team’s 1 PM EST matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

QB Andrew Luck (abdomen/kidney)

WR Phillip Dorsett (ankle)

S Mike Adams (ankle)

OLB Sio Moore

OT Anthony Castonzo (knee)

OG Todd Herremans

OLB Bjoern Werner

Of course, Andrew Luck, Mike Adams, and Anthony Castonzo are the biggest losses, with Castonzo being the latest key injury casualty for the Colts. The 5th-year veteran suffered a sprained MCL in last weekend’s win against the Atlanta Falcons and hadn’t practiced all week before officially being declared out for today earlier this weekend. It will be the 1st start that Castonzo has missed since his rookie season in 2011.

In Castonzo’s absence, look for Joe Reitz to slide over to starting left tackle, while this year’s 7th round pick from Mars Hill, Denzelle Good, will presumably get his 1st career start at right tackle, having practiced with the starting unit this week.

Good has never played in an NFL game and has been a healthy scratch all season, so it’s definitely  something that could be an area for concern.

Otherwise, the outside linebacker duo of Sio Moore and Bjoern Werner are once again healthy scratches for the 2nd consecutive week, while veteran offensive guard Todd Herremans continues to be banished to the team’s inactive list after being highly ineffective earlier this season as a starter.

The Colts did get some encouraging news this week; however, as Adams was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and may just be a week away.
