Colts Injury Report: Luck Limited with Ankle Injury

The Indianapolis Colts host the undefeated Denver Broncos this weekend and we have the first injury reports of the week. There wasn’t much coverage of injuries today as coach Chuck Pagano’s press conference mostly focused on the firing of offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.

The Colts have two players headlining the injury list this week: T.Y. Hilton and Andrew Luck

Hilton was kept out of practice today with a foot injury. It is being reported as a mid-foot sprain and Hilton left Monday night’s game in a walking boot. He also had an MRI and is still being evaluated

Luck, who has been the subject of much injury debate, showed up on the report as limited with an ankle injury. This was not long after Luck said in a conference call that he was completely healthy. This adds to a growing list of injuries including his shoulder, and supposedly, three fractured ribs.

Cornerback Darius Butler was also limited with a sore foot. Center Khaled Holmes is still recovering from a neck injury that kept him out of last week’s game, but he’s making progress and was limited today.

Not surprisingly, rookie receiver Phillip Dorsett was out today as he is recovering from surgery to repair his fractured ankle.

Four players were given the day off for rest. D’Qwell Jackson, Andre Johnson, Vontae Davis, and Robert Mathis all had the afternoon off.
