Colts vs Patriots Injury Report: Luck, Hilton Limited

The Indianapolis Colts host the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. After extended time off, the Colts were hoping to field their complete offense but instead the injury report grew in the second day of practice this week.

Andrew Luck was once again limited, but reportedly is trending in the right direction (for the umpteenth day in a row). Luck was joined by T.Y. Hilton who apparently tweaked his groin in practice on Wednesday.

Inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman made his way back to the practice field as he fights through a groin injury. Freeman was limited today, after sitting out Wednesday’s practice.

Trent Cole (back) and Nate Irving (knee) were both limited for the second straight day.

Bjoern Werner, who practiced fully with a sore hamstring on Wednesday, was out today. It sounds as if he either didn’t respond well to the full work load or suffered a setback during practice.

Defensive tackle Billy Winn was limited today in practice. He apparently injured his eye since Wednesday’s practice.

D’Qwell Jackson was given the day off for rest, while Robert Mathis and Andre Johnson were back at work today after having Wednesday off.
